Covered by the local media and newspapers, SusBDe India, represented by Executive Director Mrs. Vrinda Thakur and Executive Director Projects Mr. Vivek Gharet met with the mayor of Nagpur, Hon. Shri. Dayashankar Tiwari and the commissioner Hon. Shri. Radhakrishnan B. to discuss the waste-challenges and the green fuel transition for the municipality of Nagpur.
Nagpur is a municipality in Maharashtra region of India and with over 2.9 million people one of the largest cities after Mumbai in Maharashtra. A solution for over 1,000 Mt/per day of municipal solid waste has to be incorporated in the near future and contributed by SusBDe, we all can make the difference. Dry fermentation, zero-waste contributing to the green fuel transition.
SusBDe recently welcomed Trasmec Pune's CEO, Mr. Mateesh, to our Utrecht office to discuss conveyor belt technology for the Nagpur biogas project and future developments in India. This meeting follows our visit to Trasmec in Pune with Machinefabriek Emmen, with further discussions planned at Trasmec’s headquarters in Cremona, Italy, to advance our collaboration on high-efficiency, sustainable energy solutions.
SusBDe's Transportable Biogas Plant (TBP) has arrived in Nagpur. Built in the Netherlands in three months, the mobile TBP can be deployed across India to convert waste into biogas, offering a scalable solution to the country’s waste management challenges.

In collaboration with our international partners, we have developed a scalable and adaptable facility tailored specifically for the Indian market. This facility showcases the ability to processing organic waste sustainably and producing biogas.
