As SusBDe continues to expand its international activities and project portfolio, the company is further strengthening its governance and strategic advisory capabilities.
Since 2023, SusBDe has been supported by an Advisory Board that provides independent advice and guidance to the Executive Board and Management Team on strategic development, organizational growth, innovation, and long-term continuity. The Advisory Board also serves as a valuable sounding board, contributing expertise, experience, and networks from a broad range of sectors.
Over the past years, SusBDe has evolved significantly. The company has expanded its portfolio of circular waste-to-energy and biomethane solutions while increasing its presence across Europe and Asia. This growth requires a more active and engaged advisory structure to support the next phase of development and way of working.
As part of this transition, SusBDe is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Bert Jägel as Chairman of the Advisory Board.
In addition to our current members, discussions with several highly qualified candidates are at an advanced stage. The renewed Advisory Board will bring together complementary expertise in industry, finance, governance, sustainability, international business development, and public affairs.
By further strengthening its Advisory Board, SusBDe aims to broaden its strategic knowledge base, deepen stakeholder engagement, and reinforce the company's long-term mission of delivering scalable circular infrastructure and renewable energy solutions worldwide.

Nagpur’s Bhandewadi waste-to-CBG facility is progressing from current production of approximately 28 tonnes of CNG per day towards an expected 55 tonnes per day after full commissioning. The facility received its amended Consent to Operate from the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board in May 2026, confirming SusBDe LOC Nagpur Private Limited as operator and authorising CBG production of up to 2,070 m³/hour.

As the project moves towards completion, it not only marks a major milestone for SusBDe and its partners, but also establishes a blueprint for the next generation of circular economy projects across India.
Following recent high-level meetings with key stakeholders in Sri Lanka, SusBDe has taken another important step towards the development of sustainable waste-to-biomethane infrastructure. During a presentation to the Maharagama Urban Council, SusBDe demonstrated how its integrated MSW-to-CBG technology can transform municipal waste into renewable energy while supporting Sri Lanka's circular economy ambitions.
SusBDe has taken an important step in advancing its sustainable waste-to-biomethane initiatives in Sri Lanka through high-level discussions with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The Embassy has expressed strong confidence in SusBDe's innovative Dutch technology and will actively support the company's engagement with government authorities and strategic partners to accelerate the development of future renewable energy projects.
