SusBDe Vasai Virar PVT. LTD. Erected

January 15, 2021

On 15 January 2021 and to facilitate the establishment of a ground breaking new endeavor, a local company has been erected for the project for the Vasai Virar Municipality Corporation (VVCMC). The LOI between SusBDe and VVCMC was signed in December 2020.

The work is underway, land leveling is in full progress and a formal signing of the agreement (land use) will be undertaken during a ceremonial meeting between VVCMC, SusBDe and local partners in April 2021.

Located in the greater Mumbai area, this plant will have a MSW capacity of 650 Mt/per day and produce 350 million cubic feet Bio-gas per year, which will be purchased by our partner Bharat Petroleum. Over 300 jobs will be created and 11 sustainability goals of the United Nations will be served. See also the United Nations link.
